THE PERFORMER
Nick became Co-principal of the Orchestra of the Swan in 1997, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. He has toured with orchestras to America (New York Alice Tully Hall), Switzerland, Germany (Berlin Konzerthaus), France, Austria and Holland (Royal Concertgebouw). RECORDINGS AND REVIEWS
Nick began his musical studies at Chetham's School of music where he studied with Alan Lockwood.
He then went on to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where, after three years of principal study flute with Richard Chester MBE he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree.
Nick then moved on to the Birmingham Conservatoire where he continued his flute tuition with Kevin Gowland and graduated with a Master of Arts with Distinction.
THE TEACHER
Nick is passionate about teaching and being able to help students develop their understanding of music, encouraging self expression through the instrument. With many years of teaching experience at a wide range of standards and ages Nick's a great choice to help your child get to the next level.
